Dr. Dianne Olvera
Phd.; BCET #10070

Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education at La Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1981; completed an Masters Degree in Education in 1989, and a Doctorate Degree in 1994 in Language, Reading, and Culture with a minor in Bilingual Education at the University of Arizona, Tucson.

Dr. Olvera and her husband, Jose, served as Air Attachés for the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. After returning to the U.S., Dianne served in a large school district and in a liaison position to the University of Arizona.

Dr. Olvera served as a graduate school professor at Lynn University and Florida Atlantic University. She taught Linguistics and all areas of Education at California State Polytechnic University (CalPoly) in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Administratively, Dr. Olvera thrived as a Counseling Coordinator for the MESA Program at UC Santa Barbara. She practiced as an Educational Therapist and expounds that "learning methods affect nearly everything in our life." These insights convinced her to establish a Center for Educational Therapy in 2003.

Dianne's delightful humor eases behavior transitions for a positive outcome.

      
Jose Olvera
M.A. Candidate

A graduate of the United States Military Academy - West Point, New York.

He was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with expertise in mathematical courses in Calculus and Economics. He has expertise in Portuguese, English, plus, specialty courses in Dynamics, Fluids, Electrical, and Nuclear dynamics.

Because of his interest in Aerospace Engineering, he pursued a Master's Degree at the University of Arizona. His emphasis was engineering mathematics, including, differential equations, foureir series, complex variables, space dynamics, heat transfer, hypersonic engineering and a thesis in " Exhaust Gas Analysis Using Chromatography".

Jose was employed in several aerospace firms that gave him worldwide experience in Europe and the Western Hemisphere. His distinguished military service earned him the rank of a Bird Colonel in the U.S. Air Force.

f you'd like to hear church music, or, hear some commanding readings from scripture, Jose volunteers at St. Joseph Church Choir in Nipomo, CA. His commanding bass/tenor voice range has earned him respect from musicians, vocalists, and the congregation.
